The Rubber Buggy - Flower Power Quick and Easy Card

Hi it's Jennifer here with a nice quick and easy
card because that is just what you need at this time of year
with so much happening.  So I have used the
and layered the LF Licorice Cardstock under it and then
the white base.  The Sentiment is LF Scripty For You
in the Licorice Cardstock. The Flowers are from the
LF Flower Power Die Set I have used white cardstock
and coloured them using Distress Ink Pads
in the colours of Festive Berries, Scattered Straw,
Spiced Marmalade and Shabby Shutters I used
3D Foam Squares on all the flowers and leaves.
The background I have used the Ranger Mister Bottle
and Tim Holtz Water Brush to apply the background.
on the flower centres I have used the
Wink of Stella Clear to give them sparkle and then
coated it in Ranger Glossy Accents for a lovely gloss.
I didn't have time to do the For You but am going
 to do that the same.

Opal the Optimist Enjoys Christmas!

Hi I am here with my last Christmas Card to
show you for this year from The Rubber Buggy
I thought I would do something
a little different so I used the Gorgeous and my most
be used for lots of occassions, 21sts, 40ths, Birthdays,
New Years and I thought I would use her for Christmas.
I used vintage colours the background is in
the sentiment was from Lawn Fawn Winter Big Scripty
The shaker dies I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles
I had a bit of an accident and cut the small rectangle instead
of the big one for the back of my shaker. So I cut the big one around
it and off centered them so you can see the stitching in the
window so that ended up working really well.
Ooops nearly forgot the important part the Craft Medley Sequins.

La-La Land Crafts - Easle Card Countdown Calendar

Hi Everyone I am here with a Tutorial for
an Easle Card Countdown Calender for
 Here it is open.

 It closed and folded up.

This is the front base cut it 51/2" x 111/2"
then score at 23/4", 3", 81/2" and 8/3/4
This is the Easle cut 12" x 5" then score at
23/4, 51/2 and 61/2
So then decorate the front base. I have used

 Stamp
Dies

These tags you can have them countdown for Christmas
and store them in the box or you could just have one
and pop some Chocolates in the box.
Now for the box this is the bottom I have cut it at
61/2" x 41/4 then scored 1" all the way around.
See in the picture where I have placed the cuts
then folded and taped to create a box.
This is the lid of the box. I have cut it at 61/8 x41/4 then
scored 3/4" all the way around. Place the cuts and tape into
a box the same as the base.

You can then decorate the easle base and tape the box
into position as in the photo.

This the back view and you can see where the easle base attaches
to the front base.
When folded the flaps of the front base end up on top
to form the decorative box.

I then created a belly band 1" wide it depends on how
highly embellished your card to how long it is.

 Open.
Shut
I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial and look forward to seeing
yours.

La-La Land Crafts - Anything Christmas

Well it is Monday again one more Monday left until
Christmas :).  That gives me 2 weeks to blog all my
Christmas Cards. So here is the first for La-La Land Crafts
the Theme very appropriately is Anything Christmas.
I chose to do a CAS white on white with a touch of colour
this week as I needed a few Elegant Christmas Cards so
I have done a few of these. It is hard to see but the background
under the trees is a deep purple with white snowflakes on.
I always seem to have problems taking purple pics and it's
my favorite colour to work with.
This is my last Monday blog for LLLC's until Jan but I do
have a Kit and Tutorial Tuesday and this Thursday for LLLC's.

Dies - Three Christmas TreesSanta Sleigh Ride,
