La-La Land Crafts - Pyramid Arrow Fold Card Tutorial

        

               

    Jennifer here with you today to share a tutorial with you!

Today's tutorial is: Pyramid Arrow Fold Card 

An Awesome Base for any themed Card.

PRODUCTS:

Curiouser and Curiouser

Playing Card Die

Wonderland Paper Pack

PAPER CUTS & SCORING

Black Card Stock:

Base 5 1/2inches x 11 1/2 inches score at 11 and 5 1/2 inches

Bottom 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches score long ways 1 and 2 inches

1 x Large Heart Die Cut

Red Card Stock:

Layer 5 x 5 inches

Small Die Cut Heart and Spade

Patterned Paper:

4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches

White Card Stock:

1 x Card Die Cut

Patterned Paper Small Card Print:

2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches

Acetate:

2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches

1. I have used a cream Card Stock so you can see the folds but I have Actually

created it in Black Card Stock.

Using pencil mark  2 3/4inches on the 5 1/2 inches score line which is the 

centre point. Then mark the 2 3/4 and 8 1/4 inches on both sides of the Base.

Then as in the photo score.

2. Then Fold all scored lines and fold it to look like the photo from the side

and from the front

3. Next get your base piece.

and fold the scores like this.

4. Place Tape across the thin part of the base piece and fold flat and pop on the base

 of the base card and draw the same shape across the corners off the base piece 

and cut them off both sides like in the photo.

5. It will fit in the Base off your card perfectly now tape the other side as well and

it will look like this.

6. This is how it looks now in the black.

 

7. This is the Red Layer Cut each into pieces to create triangles. 

8. This is the patterned piece we are layering on the red layer. Cut all the lines for more triangles. 

9. Layer Patterned Triangles on the Red Triangles.

10. Then Layer your Triangles on your Card. The long thin ones are tucked on the inside

you will see where they fit.

11. I then Created a Shaker with the pieces left and Embellished.

Voila it is finished.
