La-La Land Crafts Shaker Word Card Tutorial

Hi I am here with a Shaker Word Tutorial for

These are the Dies I used
Stamp
Foil

First of all I cut out a rectangle using the
Double Stitched Square I cut a piece of card stock
4 inches x 5 1/2 inches.  I then placed the plates not over the end
of the square die in the centre and ran it through my Big Shot
as in the picture below. Sorry very well used plates 😊

You will find it didn't cut the center. I then placed the square on
the opposite end doing the same but this time make sure you
feel the die slot into the die cut stitching first. This will give you
even stitching and straight cutting. place the plate the same
as before as in the picture below,

You will now have the perfect rectangle to work with.
I then used the Stitched Merry Die to cut out your
 word where you want.

I then cut a piece of acetate or clear plastic the size of your rectangle
and taped it on the back.

I am using the piece in the picture
from under the cut out letters.

I glued it on the front of the acetate and I also glued in all the
centers of the letters

On the back I used 3M Scotch tape to get thickness up for your
shakers I use one thickness but you can do two if you like.
I placed it around the word making sure each piece touches so
you can keep the sequins  sealed in.

I popped sequins in the sealed bit where the word is.
I also cut backing paper(Pretty blue with snow flakes)
the same size as the rectangle.

I cut layers of paper to create my card starting at the shaker
I cut each layer 3/16's bigger than the last except for the strippy
aqua that I did 3/8's bigger so I could see the stripes better.

Here it is all layered up.

I then added my coloured up Molli and used the Christmas
from the Merry Christmas Die. I cut and layered it 3 times
from cardstock with 1 layer of matching foil. I also glued
a few sprinkled around sequins.

This is a card I did the other day with the word die Stitched Happy.
There is a whole range of dies in the collection you can do them with.
We would love to see which ones you use and what you create.

Well I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and have
a Great Crafting Week.
